For the convenience of our customers, footwear purchases made from regular store stock may be placed in layaway for 60 days. 2). $25.00 DEPOSIT. A deposit of $25.00 per pair is required for all footwear layaways. 3). LAYAWAY PAYMENTS. Payments for layaway merchandise must be made every 2 weeks. Failure to make payments on time will result in merchandise being returned to stock and the customer will forfeit all deposits and payments previously submitted. 4). ALL LAYAWAYS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 60 DAYS. All layaway merchandise not picked at the end of 60 days will be returned to stock and the customer will forfeit all deposits and payments. 5). SALE AND CLOSEOUT MERCHANDISE. No sale or closeout merchandise will be placed in layaway. Medicare approved diabetic footwear policy: Due to reductions in Medicare's reimbursement for diabetic footwear, we are no longer able to accept assignment for the Medicare Diabetic Shoe Program. WE REFUSE TO LOWER OUR STANDARD OF QUALITY FOR THE FOOTWEAR WE PROVIDE OR OUR LEVEL OF CARE DUE TO REDUCED REIMBURSEMENT AMOUNTS FROM MEDICARE! YOU, OUR CUSTOMER, DESERVE OUR BEST! PAYMENT FOR FOOTWEAR, INSOLES AND/OR OTHER DEVICES IS DUE AT THE TIME OF SERVICE! Proper footwear is an important part of diabetes management. Diabetics are at extreme risk for serious foot disorders. Calluses, corns, sores and ulcers on the feet are usually caused by improper footwear. Any of these conditions can cause an infection which can possibly lead to amputation. Studies show that well fitted diabetic shoes and insoles reduce the development of these problems. By starting preventive measures early, it is possible to avoid later foot complications and enable you to maintain an independent, active lifestyle. Keeping your feet healthy is YOUR responsibility. We are here to help you keep your feet healthy by offering you the best products and service available. Cobbler's Corner highly values the privacy of each and every person who walks through our door or browses our website. We do not sell or give our clients' personal or contact information to anyone other than qualified personnel, such as doctors, working on the client's behalf and never without the client's consent. 1). All repair work will be completed as promised at the time of drop off, and in as timely a manner as possible. If, for any reason, repairs can not be completed as promised, the customer will be notified and alternative arrangements will be made. 2). Repair work will, to the extent possible, be done in the order in which it arrives. 3). Repairs will be made available for pick up on the date promised and will be held for 30 DAYS following that date, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon by Cobbler's Corner and the customer. 4). Repairs left at Cobbler's Corner more than 30 days after the agreed upon pick up date, without notification of Cobbler's Corner by the customer, will become the property of Cobbler's Corner and will be disposed of as we deem appropriate. 5). Cobbler's Corner is not responsible for the loss of repair items due to theft or unforeseen occurrence (i.e., fire), or for the loss of any repair items left more than 30 days after the agreed upon pick up date. NO REFUNDS - EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT ONLY. Returned merchandise which has not been worn may be exchanged for other merchandise of equal value or a store credit for the purchase price paid for the returned merchandise may be issued. NO RETURNS OF CLOSEOUT ITEMS OR OF ANY FOOTWEAR WHICH HAS BEEN WORN! OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE EACH CUSTOMER WITH EXPERT CARE AND QUALITY MERCHANDISE. 1). ALL special order footwear requires a $25.00 deposit per pair prior to the order being placed. 2). ALL special order footwear must be picked up WITHIN 14 DAYS of customer notification. If you have an answering machine, please check your messages. We understand the pressures of a busy lifestyle, but we can not be held responsible if you do not check your messages, and many times this is the only contact we are able to establish with our customers. 3). AFTER 14 DAYS special order footwear which has not been picked up will be considered store stock. 4). $25.00 RESTOCKING FEE. On all special order merchandise we DO NOT STOCK, the customer will forfeit the $25.00 deposit if the merchandise is not picked up within 14 days of notification. The deposit will be returned if the item ordered was an item we normally keep in stock, however, the item will be returned to stock and we can not guarantee it will be available for purchase at a later date. Special Order Shipping Policy: Shipping costs have risen sharply due to the rising cost of fuel. As a courtesy to our customers, Cobbler's Corner will continue to absorb any normal shipping charges for special order merchandise at no extra cost. However, if you require rush shipping of your footwear, the following charges will be added to the cost of your order. These charges are necessary in order for us to continue providing these services to our customers.
